Ros Jones - Children’s Musical Director

Training: exhibitioner at the RCM, studying piano with Phyllis Sellick, postgraduate accompanist at the GSMD.

Theatre includes: West End: assistant musical director for Sunday in the Park with George (Wyndham’s), The Woman in White (Palace) and Bombay Dreams (Apollo Victoria). Keyboards for Mamma Mia!, My One & Only, Lautrec, The Car Man, Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast, Mack and Mabel and Les Misérables. UK touring: Edward Scissorhands and Sunset Boulevard (conducting debut 2002).

As a pianist, Ros has performed at Symphony Hall, Birmingham, the QEH and the Purcell Room, and she has worked as a repetiteur for English National Opera, the European Opera Centre, two Raymond Gubbay productions at the Royal Albert Hall and the 50th anniversary production of Albert Herring at the Britten Pears School.

Film and television include: Nicholas Nickleby, A Photo Finish, The Outlaw, The Jack Dee Show, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries and preparing Jonathan Pryce for his pianistic role as Mahler in Bride of the Winds.

Coaching: RADA, Webber Douglas Academy and the Ravel Academy, France.
