Training: MA Hons in theatre and literature from the University of Glasgow. Recent work includes: Billy Liar starring Ralf Little (UK tour), and working with Jeremy Sams on the tour of Little Britain – Live! She was Artistic Associate of the Tricycle 2005-06. Other directing includes: Tennessee Williams Short Plays (Cockpit), I Confess (site-specific new writing), Noises Off (tour, Piccadilly and Brooks Atkinson, Broadway), Spend Spend Spend starring Barbara Dickson (tour), Du Monde Entier (Theatre Gerard Philippe, Paris), Made in Ecosse (ENSATT, Lyon, France), Brilliant Lies (Rosemary Branch, UK premiere). As artistic director of Dogstar Theatre Company: Bruises (Scottish premiere) and The Good Times Will Come (Scottish premiere). She is also a guest director for Rose Bruford College of Music and Drama and Oxford School of Drama. As staff director at the NT: Noises Off and The Heiress. As associate: See You Next Tuesday and Benefactors (both Albery). Assistant: Suddenly Last Summer (Donmar Warehouse at the Comedy) and a year at the Traverse, Edinburgh, after being awarded a John Fernald Award Trust director’s bursary. Anna has translated two plays for the Traverse, Edinburgh, and recently adapted a five-part series for Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4.
