Training: Royal College of Music Opera School (scholarship and first prize National Mozart Competition). Opera includes: Pamina in The Magic Flute, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Leila in The Pearl Fishers, Mimi in La Bohème, Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte, Nedda in Pagliacci and The Countess in The Marriage of Figaro (Covent Garden Festival), Josephine in HMS Pinafore (Buxton Gilbert and Sullivan Festival) and Tatyana in Eugene Onegin (Opera Interludes, Russia). West End debut: Elsie Maynard in The Yeoman of the Guard (D¹Oyly Carte, Savoy). She has appeared at the Royal Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican and with Glyndebourne Festival Opera and toured Switzerland, the Czech Republic, New York, Russia and performed Beethoven¹s Ninth Symphony in the Beethoven Halle in Bonn, Germany. Theatre includes: Duckie: The Class Club (Pit, Barbican). Janet regularly performs with concert pianist Linda Ang, spending two years with cruise lines Cunard, Holland America, Raddison and Crystal. She also performed for Sir Elton John at a charity ball, appeared with Dionne Warwick and sang on a Spanish mountaintop for Matthew Parris¹s 50th birthday.
